If you’re new here, my name is Elizabeth Petters, but everyone calls me Lizz. I am a writer, co-host of the Deconstructing Mamas Podcast, and mom to two. I grew up in the evangelical church and left just a few years ago. I am deeply passionate about creating a space for spiritual misfits to find a sense of safety and belonging on their faith journeys, and am especially passionate about empowering young moms and parents who are doing the hard work of healing while raising kids.

Some random facts about me. I love organizing, reading, theatre, creating, sitting in the sun, and trashy tv. My kids and I sing Disney songs constantly. My dad is biblical scholar Peter Enns, and I am a chip off the old block (as they say). I was diagnosed with anxiety, OCD, and a panic disorder at a young age and those diagnosis are a huge part of my life.
